Looks to be set up perfectly! Those batteries in the front will help keep the boat from porpoising when you've got a good amount of weight at the back of the boat.

I would maybe pop rivet a few 1.5" PVCs to the seat/front deck to serve as a rod holder/umbrella holder. Also pop-rivet some drink holders. But then again I always have too much junk in the boat!

EDIT: One thing I would look at is to add an outboard motor lock to the transom brackets on your outboard. Mine used to loosen up slightly over time and I would have to check them periodically. The transom lock keeps people from stealing the outboard and keeps the brackets in one spot (tightly fastened).

Heh....y'all's boats are faaaancy. Really beautiful
My first "real" boat is a bobber. Lots of work to do to get it right but it's exactly what I wanted. Just gotta find right motor, do some flooring, weld TM bracket, get a comfy seat and some fresh paint.

The size of the boat and all its stuff isn't the measure of a boat. The memories and great times are.

Yessir, as I've been taught. Made many a memory off'a bank, knee deep or scullin off the bow. Even more with my lil man hung up in a mayhaw.
And caught quite a few good fish too boot.
Best catch thus far are the two in the pic above and Bug (below)

Is there anything as magic as a boat to a boy, or girl as far as tt goes. I sent many happy hours with y granddaughter in the winter watching her drive my toon on magical voyages. Everything from finding treasure to harpooning Moby Dick. Many happy memories for me and her as well.

    Low 50's light boat
Mid 40's with fishing load and fuel
Cruises nice and easy around 35 though and sips fuel
