Hey duck you use more than one pole,i only used two or three poles
one short for use on stumps i tie to and the other med and long
have to work with the wind i does what it wants. i have only had a few day
when i can do more than 25 usely i get 8-20 but i like to stay in the 10inch
and above. just for fun lets say we all go to 10inch in jan,-march state and let
them study that.

The only real difference I saw in that study from pre to post was the average crappie caught was....and get this......hold your seat......BIGGER!!!!!!!!!!!! Hmmm. Imagine that.

That hot topic was started by me regretfully ...managing fisheries is like predicting where a hurricane will land...next to impossible...to many possibilities and unforeseen variables...although i think from the last regulations i have read is that Toledo Bend has adopted a 25 fish limit on both Texas and La side...although i am not certain if it really is law..discussing fishing regulations is like politics...no one will ever agree...so for me i do as my father taught me...keep what ya need let the rest go...treat your lake/river/bayou as if its your backyard fishery...if you feel the need to keep them all or let them all go, then that's what you should do
