Thread: 2nd Get Together ....

Let's go ahead and set up our second get together.

Would you prefer to vote on lake/date ... or would you like for me to just pick the lake/date ??

If I were so inclined ... I'd pick Taylorsville Lake ... May 2nd .. no cookout ... Settler's Trace Ramp

I would do so for the following reasons :

April is the prime time for most of our waters, and trips are probably already planned. (mine are :p )
Taylorsville has a bad habit of flooding during April, and on previous trips during May, I have found the Crappie to be still spawning.
No cookout - because there aren't any suitable facilities for it.
Settler's Trace Ramp - good ramp, plenty of parking, minnows/food/gas available at gas station (intersection of highway & ramp road), and it's close to the larger creeks.
