Good for you. I went Friday and Sturday and did horrible. Friday I caught three keepers but also caught 9 bass. Problem was, I wasn't fishing for them. One bass did go over three pounds. Where did you fish? I am taking my boys Friday again before the cold front comes in.

Put in at oppossum ridge.Fished banks without standing timber and pitch a minnow at every laydown and piece of wood in the water. You can probibally catch them in the standing timber to but just hate to fight all that crap.Going to take my son back tomorrow after school as long as its not storming.

Amen Louie.... I see a big cold front is going to be pushing through and dropping the temperature into the 60's. I was looking to go out in the rain on Friday but I will see if the wife might let me head out on Saturday.

I've always gone fishing on Derby day, so I couldn't agree more.

But I wouldn't plan a meeting on that day, it may be hard to believe
but most plan parties/family activities that day and won't be available,
even the ones that want too.
