Hey CP,
I prefer the early am time frame myself but haven't the chance between work and wife lately. I'm going to try jigging some trees tomorrow am for a few hours. I agree with the 8 to 12 ft range, that is almost always the best depth for me this time of year. I'll let you know how it goes.
