Hey guys, I'm a noobie so don't pick on me too much. Top-notch forum you guys have here. Been reading on here daily for the past 3 weeks or so, trying to improve my chances of catching a few slabs--but to no avail. Finally, I joined up before the crappie all scatter again all across the lake.

We came down and fished Eddy Creek near Eddyville last weekend and got skunked, again. Caught about a dozen bluegill, 1 14" bass, and a catfish on a 1/16 oz. red roadrunner with a 2" white Gulp Alive grub. We started out with minnows under a cork but switched over after an hour of no bites.

So, I'm looking for any pointers that anybody might have about this area. We are back to give it another try this weekend. Fairly familiar with the area, but have yet to catch a crappie out of this lake in the past 4 springs.
