Feels Like March, Maybe time for a late spawn

I was wondering yesterday as I had to break out the coat and gloves when I went to feed my horses if we had slipped back into Mrch. The temp was abou 48 and the winds were howling at 3 pm. I sure thought it was March, maybe the crappie will follow suit. Any thoughts?

Sure was an unusual day for May. I don't recall ever seeing the wind blow that hard for that long without there being any severe storms associated with it this time of year.

I think area water temps are a bit below normal for this time of year and everything seems to be running a bit behind.
