    Default New To Nolin

I am usually a Rough River crappie fisherman, but with the water being in the shape it's in, I'm wanting to get out and try Nolin but have never fished it. Can anybody make a few suggestions on where to try? I will be fishing from a boat. What size fish can I expect from Nolin? I'm not asking for any secret spots just some general ideas on where to try. Thanks for any help!

Put in at Iberia and run past the bridge and fish any coves, docks, or wood cover with jigs. Average size is around 9 to 11 inches.

If you go past the bridge, be careful. There are tons of stick ups just below the surface up that creek. Watched a guy hit one on Sunday morning. Lots of people fly through there, but not me. I want to keep my lower unit. Dog creek is also a pretty decent area for crappie. Wichita is right about the size to. An occasional fish over 11 inches.
