Jigboy,
We have had very good luck on Blood River directly across from the ramp at Irvin Cobb. We put in there and shoot straight across and work our way up to the first main point of Blood. Depending on which way the wind is blowing. If you are coming from the main lake start right where blood river forks to the left and right (towards Irvin Cobb). This has a chunk rock bank and is a perennial spawning area. Casting green curly tails on an 1/8th ounce jig head usually pulls alot of fish. We usually drift rosey red minnows about 2 feet deep under a float behind the boat as we cast to the banks also.Try to stay in the 8-10ft water and cast as close to the shore as possible. This always seems to work for us when the water is between 60-65 degrees. Good luck hope this helps, we will be there those dates doing exactly that. First and last hour of the day they really turn on, during midday we back out to the first drop off. Chris
