I'm new to the board and crappie fishing full time, had to give up on KY bass fishing after going to Guntersville a couple of times and actually catching fish.
Just traded my fish and ski stratos in for a new War Eagle Predator as my wife broke her ankle and finally gave up on water skiing.
Probably make Cave Run my main lake
Herrington second.
Will still go to Guntersville 1 or 2 times a year.
I have a brother that lives in Gadsden right close to Neely Henry so I will have to learn that one also

Green River Lake
Just got a new boat (my first!) so I'd like get out and fish a few new lakes in the coming years. Rough River, Kentucky Lake, and Dale Hollow are on the "To Do" list right now.
Kentucky Lake is THE lake for me! :fish
I fish in Barren River, Barrren River Lake, and a little in Noin, and Shanty Hollow mostly crappie. Now that Labor Day has passed and the pleasure boaters are all busy winterizing their irritating wakes for another season, we can concentrate without all the rock an roll. I've heard the Corp is planning on pulling the plug on the 15th of this month and with the cooler water and the current, it should turn the crappie into piranah. With that said, I fished Lake Erie for years for walleye and would like to find a place to fish for them without spending the night at a Holiday Inn Express. I catch one ocassionally while fishing at Nolin and have heard that in its day was a decnt lake. Have also been told by a friend who works for KDFW that they stocked them in Barren but i've never caught, seen , or heard of one being taken from the lake. Suggestions?:dono
