I mainly fish rough river for crappie. Haven't had much experience on any other lake. Hope to change that this year. So far we have caught seems like hundreds of small crappie but nothing with any size. Love to catch fish. Love to eat them almost as much.

I am 63 and born and raised in Monticello. My first adventure on Lake Cumberland at the age of 10, was in a homemade wooden fishing boat with a Huricane 10 motor on the back and a sculling paddle up front. Age and health has given me the chance to start fishing again more seriously. I have fished for bass for a long long time but wanting to spend more time fishing for crappie, a can already tell this is a the place to learn.
Anyone catching any? I went to Brookville Indiana yesterday not a single nibble.

Hello everybody, new to the forum but my body aches too much to be a newbie..lol. I live in the Louisville area and fish mostly TVille, Cedar Creek, and Nolin. I Bass fish a bunch but plan on spending my cold months chasing some Crappie at TVille. I talk to a lot of Crappie guys on TVille and the common thing I hear is "we caught a bunch of 9.5 's" so it sounds promising for the near future. Anyway, glad to join the forum and will post when I get out to try some of this stuff I've read here already.
Hi my name is Matt
I fish Taylorsville and Beaver lake most often also guist creek and green river. Usually do a couple trips to Weiss lake a year Also. I mainly crappie fish but I don’t turn down the chance at some white bass or hybrids when they’re running or in a feeding frenzy on top.
Hi folks, Porkman here from the Fairdealing area of Western Kentucky. Mostly fish KY Lake putting in at Hesters Resort. Crappie is the name of the game for me.
