I know what ya mean. With another 4-5" coming, I think it will be close to a week before we will be able to fish. I hope not .

Just heard that my county (and a lot more) was just put under a flood warning. We've got a lot of rain headed this way over the next few days.
I've been doing a little LM fishin' across the road from the house at a farm pond with great success until yesterday. The water had come up from the rain that we had here the other morning and screwed that all up. I'll be glad when it all goes down and fish start acting normal again.
Got another lake I'm wanting to check out but no boat ramp. Too much mud to get to the water right now. When will it all end?![]()

Sponsored by my wallet!!
I hate to be the guy who brings bad news........but Three Rivers in Pittsburg will be getting 1 to 1.5 inches of rain, Northern Kentucky area is getting around 3 inches of rain, and the Paris TN area 2 to 3 inches of rain. All of this rain is going to keep the Ohio River in a uproar. So, I guess KY Lake levels are going to up down for awhile.
I am heading to KY Lake the 11th of this month and hope to run into Noah on the lake and ask him if has 2 crappie he could spare
I have found that the site www.accuweather.com is a fisherman's best tool for weather it will give you a 15 day forecast and has been pretty reliable for the most part. It's suggesting that the Paris TN area on April 11th will be in the mid 70's and April 16th in the high 50's a drop of nearly 20 degrees is going to shut the mouths on the crappies. This may be the strangest spring crappie season I have seen in my life.
I don't think this is Global Warming as much as it is Global Melting:D
A livewell is a casket for Fish

Take your kids hunting and fishing, and you won't be hunting your kids
I wish we would get some of those heavy rains here in East Tennessee, While we are much better off than we were last year at the this time. I guess when the Almighty decides we need it we will get it.
Where is Cromwell? Im in central KY
Cromwell is about 25 miles north west of Bowling Green up the Wm. Natcher Parkway. It is a small community between Morgantown and Beverdam on Highway 231.

You western ky guys that are dying to fish and all your water is messed up might consider strip mine lakes on Peabody Wildlife Management Area in Muhlenberg and Ohio counties. Most of the them are very clear and the rain usually help "color up" the water for better fishing.
Weatherman said that we got around 5.5 inches since this time yesterday. A lot of the major roads are flooded. I honestly don't recall these roads ever being flooded where they are.
Neighbor's pond is flowing over the dam (and his driveway.) We've got some sunshine here startiing about right now and the weather is supposed to be in the 70's all next week. Maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel. My casting arm is getting "twitchy!"
