Thread: Green River Trooper

Have flipped the boat over and blocked the trailer for the winter. Have been hitting the river below the dam/spillway the last few weekends. Have had moderate success, catching five to seven crappie per outing with a bass or two thrown in for good measure.

The surprising part, however, has been my fishin' partner - my wife. She has bundled up, and got out there like a real trooper. It was 36*F when we got to the river this morning. Has been pretty chilly the last few outings, but that hasn't stopped her. Today was her day, catching five of the seven crappie, and the bass. Hurrah for me!!!!!!

What part of Green River are you fishin? I have fished around Rochester/Central City/Calhoun area some.

We have been fishing the river at the spillway of Green River Lake. A bit "up-stream" of ya, ya might say!
