Thumbs up Things Are Looking Up

Went today and took my wife. She need a break and so did I. I caught 9, threw back 2 and lost 2 nice fish. All the fish I caught were Black Crappie. All came from the middle of the bays in about 12' to 13' of water fish'n right down in the thickest part 10' deep or so. Wife didn't manage to catch any crappie but did catch a turtle! :D Bless her heart. She thought she had a goodn' too. Broke her heart when she saw it was a turtle!

    Default Same here

:D I went yesterday and brought home five and one big bluegill. Same here, from 12 to 14 ft. of water. Were you using minnows or jigs or both. We were using only jigs. My buddy never caught a fish. Also wondering if they bit as light on you as they did me. Were you fishing Ky or Barkley?
