Even if we don't catch much, you will at least get a guided tour of my "usual hotspots" :p (for future reference )

... looking forward to it --- I'll see ya there !!

So if anyone is going to be there the 28th I'd like to meet you,

but, if I can swing it ... I may just "tag along" with you, then. I'll get back with you on that. When will you be able to catch a posted reply, about hooking up on the 28th ??

I'll be sure to check as soon as I get back Thursday, hopefully before
10 o:clock PM. (I should be home by then-I hope)
If you can go with me, leave me a message, and I'll call you as soon as I
get in to confirm where and when.
(And of course you can call me now through Friday for preliminary plans)
I will be interested how anyone does this Friday, it's getting close
    to start seeing something.

    Hey CP, fellas...
Sorry I haven't posted in a while, crazy schedule. We were on the T-ville lake this past saturday and did ok. Fishing from daylight 'til 11am we had 12 keepers, most of which were 10 - 12.5 inches. Caught all on minnows under slip floats around 9 ft deep. Fish were on the main lake, just had to keep moving to find trees that had fish. Didn't try any jigs so they may have worked, but it might be a good idea to take a few minnows along Just a thought. Wish I could make the outing Friday. Good luck!
    Take care,

what i am hearing is the cedars are the ones holding the fish not the hardwoods, i have been pulling bandit cranks trying to learn that method of catching them, i am still a beginner at it, lots of bass and blue cats, i went last week and did well under lights at night on main lake channels, let us know how you do, i will be out friday afternoon and all day sat if i do not go to dale hollow, good luck!

Heard the same thing about the cedars yesterday. I put in at Van Buren and fished the morning down at that end. Don't know how long CP and I will be on the water Friday. Sounds like another hot afternoon. I'll keep an eye out for your boat just in case.

Dang, man .... just saw the forecast 91deg .... and just a few days ago it was forcast to be around the low to mid 80's. Guess I'd better pack my sunscreen, boonie hat, and longsleeve white shirt :D

I'll hang in there as long as I can ... how long that will be, will be determined by how late I can stay up on Thur (and how long I sleep into Fri morning). I'm hoping to be awake enough to last til 2 or 3PM at the earliest. If I have to, I'll lock my stuff in my truck and take a nap under a shade tree :p (before attempting the 1.5hr drive home).
T-ville Crappie always have had a liking for Cedar trees ... esp in Spring & Fall. But, they like blowdowns as much as anything ... and better than some.

    ................

Greenfish ... any particular type of cover seem to be better than most ?? any particular area that you concentrated on ??
9ft deep sounds about right ... lake is already 1ft below Winter Pool. That may or may not mess up a couple of my trees, but it will also bring a couple closer to the surface (making it easier to find/fish them).

    Hey CP,
Cover type didn't seem to matter, might catch one here and two there. Some were on hardwoods and some were on cedars. We fished from Horseshoe bend down toword the dam on the main lake, but we didn't try any further up the lake. It seems like they are biting better after around 9 am or so for us.
    Take care,
    Greenfish

Well I definately missed this one, but I only live about twenty minutes from Taylorsville lake, in jeffersontown. If I catch wind of another one of these ahead of time, I'll definately be there.

This is my first post here as well, just like to say Hey to everyone, :D.
