using 6 and 8lb mono line pulling 1.5mph. the flicker shad should be running 8-10 feet deep. But i know for sure i pulled over some flats that they bumped the bottom for a bit. This new boat my graph isn't up front so i was flying blind. But it was fun vs starting at a screen. I had a plan mapped out before i took off looking at depth charts and the lake is also currently at pool. There was a gentleman there crappie fishing and filming for youtube. He ended up with one over 15".

best summer I have had pulling cranks on Kentucky Lake. June was on fire. I haven't pulled since July 1st though as I switch over ever July to chase catfish and let the crappie rest until fall. Lots of limits before noon this year and a few before 10am. The fish was really setup good and suspended in June not holding too tight to cover and we were able to whack them pretty good.

Check out Doug Wynn's reports on KentuckyLake.com. He pulls cranks and fin spins on the north end.
