Check out Doug Wynn's reports on KentuckyLake.com. He pulls cranks and fin spins on the north end.

I'm not in Kentucky, and I haven't fished in about a month. There might be a chance that I can go on Saturday around my neck of the woods, and I'm probably pulling crankbaits,
If I'm not at work or taking kids to their activities, you might find me on "The Rez" fishing. If not there, I could be in the garage working on my boat.

I have been pulling crankbaits specifically flicker shad 5 with alot of success and targeting alot of southern indiana lakes. headed out to taylorsville in the am to try my luck there.

The only time I've actually "Pulled" cranks is when trolling for Hybrid Striped Bass, and many times I had a leader line running from the front hook to a jig.

I have "Pushed" cranks (pre-Livescope) and done okay (at Green), but have done far better Pushing jigs (at Green & Taylorsville). I preferred Pushing to Pulling for "control" reasons & length of line out reasons.

I know slabeye used to Push cranks in the middle of the day at Green and was quite successful doing so, but I don't remember if his success was better in the early Summer months or later Summer Months.

Keep us posted if any success. I’m considering going to Tville as well.

Chowning ramp area doesn’t seem to have as much pleasure boat traffic

Yeah, but the Chowning ramp area downstream thru the horseshoe bend to Heddy Run is prime Hybrid territory !!

Me and my son (hes 5) got there about 8:30 today at settlers trace by the marina. is that the state park ramp? not sure of the names of it. But targeted the flats near the marina pulling flicker shad 5 and 7 and bandit 200 crankbaits. big fish of the day was 12" we caught a alot of dinks too. some small, some 9 3/4 not a ton of keepers but it was a fun day in my new boat. left my live scope setup at home today on my other boat.

No, Chachi .... the "state park" ramp is around the corner to the left of the marina and it's called Possum Ridge. The marina ramp is Settler's Trace ramp. The other two ramps on the lake are at the other end of the lake, which are Chowning Lane ramp & Van Buren ramp.

About how deep were your cranks running & what was the water temp (if you know) ??
