I have better luck on minners at night. Fish them right below the shad & just outside the light.

Too many shad? I think maybe.. a buddy was fishing a different lake and he thought maybe he had too many shad, shut off the lights for a few minutes and after he turned them back on, he caught fish again. after awhile, the bite slowed and he shut the lights off again, only to turn them on later and start catching them again.

this is NOT a problem earlier in the year, it seems to develop later in the summer.

I'm going fishing tomrrow night and will see what happens.

Too many shad....hmmmmm. Maybe it is possible. I figured shad were about like money and fun....can't have too many or too much.
