    Whiskers,

If you get a chance to talk to him, ask him if he is is MMT, EMT, or FMT. I was MMT, which handled the warhead, guidance system, ordnances, and the missile. Basically everything in the launch tube was mine. I ran the training section for quite a few years. We were converting Minuteman II site over to Mintueman III when I retired. There were still 200 missiles when I was there, but I understand they are down to 150 now, not sure.

If you ever get a chance to go visit him up there, by all means go. See Glacier National Park, awesome place. The elk hunting is fantasic along with everything else to include fishing. You can hunt on National forest land and be very succesful. I got a nice 5x 5 elk along with many others over the years, a nice 7 x 5 Mulie that is 26" wide and 28" tall, (Mounted that bad boy), and antelope. The base outdoor rec probably still has a black bear rug that they bought from me that I took bow hunting. A wonderful state it is. Oddly, one of the first things you notice up there is no trash on the road. Outdoorsman paradise it is....

Now I run a website with a buddy of mine out in California for the motorcycle and it has a forum as well. It is www.roadstarclinic.com , we mainly run tech tips on how to do things to the motorcycle. There is a forum link at the top of the website.

My 26 yr old daughter wanted to go fishing with me today. We went out this morning and caught 10 nice crappie before it got real hot. Nice morning on the lake. My father and I went out and mapped out the lake before they raised the water level, which helped alot.
With you being all up into the "rocket science" stuff :D :D (and that's why I put all the smilies in )
Actually, I said all that for the benefit of "other" newbies, as it's a common question from new members.

What lake did you go to ? I had visions of hitting the water this weekend, too, but my fishing partner is laid up with kidney stones He's scheduled to get'em "blasted" on Monday. Maybe next weekend I'll have a better shot at it.

I went to Nolin. It is only about 10 minutes from the house. Seems to have a lot of the christmas trees thown in during the winter. We have one spot that has been a steady producer. Never made limit yet, but we do ok. More I learn, the better I will do....

If it ever cools off a touch, Dad and I are running out to central city to the strips mines. Lots of bluegill and shell crackers out there.

    Default Be glad to!

USAFretired, I live off Nashville Road just south of town. I'd be happy to show you how I've got my boat rigged any time. I can't take credit for any of it, had help from several members on the site.

Glad you got to get on the water this weekend, I'll probably will not get a chance to go again till the end of this week.
