    Default This weekend


    Anybody going after them this weekend? Finally getting some rain and supposed to cool down a little and be less humid. Hopefully the fish will be hungry. As usual they are having about 4 or 5 different tournaments on Barren River Lake Tomorrow. One of them is hoping to draw 120 boats. I'm not gonna even think about getting near the water there. I'm going to make one last trip to Kentucky Lake this weekend. Going to try spider-rigging some drop-off's early and then experiment with trolling cranks. Should be a nice weekend.....hopefully I can find a few fish to make the roadtrip back home.

    I don't know which is worse, a bass tournament with 120 boats or the weekend crowd at Ky Lake. Good Luck!

    Well I posted the results of my trip on the main board. I fished Saturday and 1/2 a day on Sunday before coming home. Wasn't fast and furious, but caught quite a few fish. Had some real nice fish on Sunday. I really took a liking to trolling crankbaits! I was amazed at some of the smaller crappie that latched on to the 300 series bandits. Picked up a few bonus fish, 3lb largemouth and 4lb cat! All in all was worth the trip.

    Think I'm going to give the nightstalking thing a try next at my local lake.
