Hey guys, the hybrids are good to eat if you cut all of the red stripe out. I think some people call it a mud streak. Anyway, if you remove all of the red/brown meat from the fillet, they are "almost" as good as crappie and bluegil IMHO. Try it, I think you may change your mind.
