I can't imagine the crowds this coming weekend. For bank spots, I would recommend driving through LBL and checking out the multitude of places to fish to try and find a spot that isn't overly crowded.

The pea gravel bank to the left of the boat ramp (mainlake side) of Nickel Branch should produce a nice amount of channel cats, the spawn/feeding frenzy should be in full swing this coming weekend.

The levee on the road to Demumbers campground has a ton of brush sunken by KDFWR that's all within a cast from the bank - should be good redear fishing along these, as well as channel cats.

Smith Bay campground is another good pea gravel bank that goes all the way around the campground. There are even stake beds within casting distance in the back (far right of the boat ramp).

Where Road 120 B ends in water in Demumbers is a good spot, the spot where 120 B ends in water on the other side/to the east is also a good bank spot (there's a gravel bar horseshoe that creates a little protected pocket). 36°59'19.5"N 88°08'43.0"W

Energy Lake can be decent. 36°51'33.7"N 88°00'52.3"W

For close/easy spots, that will probably be crowded:

The pier and shore at the Lighthouse Landing Jetty is always popular/crowded, very easy spot to get to and fish. 37°00'07.1"N 88°14'36.8"W

There are also designated fishing piers below KY Dam.

Payne Street right in Grand Rivers offers bank fishing for a backwater area off of Barkley: 37°00'16.3"N 88°13'42.0"W

The canal fishing area was still closed this weekend, not sure what it's status will be next weekend: 36°59'20.5"N 88°13'27.4"W

The Sledd Creek boat ramp offers a lot of pea gravel shoreline around it, might find some redear along it: 36°57'58.2"N 88°16'59.1"W
