From what I've read, Crappie are not a good stock fish for ponds less than 50 acres.Though, there are some that say even that's too small. Black Crappie are better than White Crappie for stock fish. And, of course, there's always someone's little pond that produces Slab Crappie.
I'm not sure that introducing Green Sunfish into a pond full of stunted fish is going to do much to solve the problem. And it may worsen the problem ?? I'd contact the KDFWR and see what they suggest.
