Exactly! I read an article in the latest KY Afield magazine telling this. There's a certain number of fish/species per acre that must come out each year. It also said that crappie is not encouraged as they are hard to control with their prolific breeding capability. It also said that transporting fish from one body of water to another is a terrible idea as there is great risk in introducing disease and other things into a pond that didn't previously exist and can cause major issues...some diseases in a huge lake that aren't noticeable can be a huge problem in a small pond.
