You don't have to wait for the state to impose a 11" size limit, just do it on your own. It takes discipline, but it is very rewarding. It won't take long for you to realize why would you keep a 10" fish when there is so much difference between a 10" and 11" fish.

I do only keep larger fish. What I meant about the state was more license checks and checking of small fish. See lots of people keeping what appears to be small to me. It's been 7 years since I've been checked and it was for hunting. I've had biologist do size checks for studies but not a game warden. More would get done with more checks from gamne wardens I think but people keeping larger would be a plus.
