They're calling for 6-8 more inches out here in the far west of the state. Along with the water that's already in the Tennessee and Cumberland River systems, KY and Barkley should be high and muddy for a while.

With that amount of rain in w.Ky means Cumberland has to hold water until other lakes begin to Drop
CUMBERLAND is still risig 1/2 in per hour

I went to Fishing Creek yesterday. Water had cleared up some, water temp went from 55-57 while I was there. Caught 14, kept 7 for supper. Ranged from 10.5 to 12.5". Male--female was 50-50. Don't know how the rain last night and today will impact fishing creek. I saw this morning where they had opened the gates. Hope to get back out tomorrow and/or Monday.

I've only been fishing 3 times since fall and it's killing me. I was contemplating on heading down to cumberland tomorrow or Tuesday but wasn't sure how the fish would be biting. I know the water level is very high but I've never fished it at that level. Any insight on the clarity of the water and where one might begin the search?
