both are still pretty cold, probably hit or miss, if i had to choose it would be cedar and fish the stick-ups.

Cedar Creek. Any news on fishing. Gonna come up and take a buddy. Its strange that I live 2 miles from Douglas Lake and he asks me to come there and crappie fish. Oh well...![]()

Cedar Creek Crappie have not done well, growing wise. They're just not getting big enough, fast enough, to warrant any road trip for them.
Crappie52 is correct .... our water temps are still in the high 40's -- and this cold spell ain't helping matters.
If I were you, I'd suggest (to your buddy) to fish locally, for now. Douglas, Watts Bar, Chickamauga should be turning on a few weeks earlier than any of our Central KY lakes.

We'd love to have you and your buddy, Uncle Dave ... but, we'd rather you have success on your trips, so you'll consider coming back
