    I don't take the whole thing apart/down when I move ... I just take the umbrella top out, and leave the rest of the frame attached to the seat pole. Mine is in 3 sections : horizontal pole, vertical pole, umbrella top section. These three sections can be disconnected & stored in the rod locker.

    Pictured is how I have it set up for use with the offset seat pole. I have another short section of PVC pipe with a reducer cap on it, that I can put in the seat pole end of the horizontal pole for use with the regular upright seat pole. It keeps the whole frame from being able to flop back & forth any. When using the offset pole, the bend of the offset pole against the T does the same thing ... but only in certain positions. My buddy is working on a brace (threaded rod & clamps) to use with the offset seat pole, but we haven't gotten around to making that just yet.

    The last few days the top has saved our butts from this oppressive heat. Just getting out of direct sun has been helping people not overheat.
