Only get to the lake a few times a year due to work. Spent the weekend spider rigging the flats and another close area that a kind local turned me on to. Fish moved a bit deeper Sunday, my wife and I caught them on jigs tipped with minnows and had good action both days.
No need to tell you color as they hit most everything, and depth is obvious...
just find the shad.
