Barkley can be very fickle at times, talked to several guys still crappie fishing really struggling this week. Been there and done that and have several tee shirts from mid May on the north end. Feel a little guilty but the pattern I was on was very specific and no way to explain it in general terms without giving away the whole shooting match.

But you might be right Brian, in the long run I might be better off not posting. I remember though when I first started hanging out on here and would have bad days and think maybe they weren't biting or the moon wasn't right or whatever. And then I would see Wiskers or somebody had caught a bunch and it made me wonder what I needed to do to catch fish. Or encouraged me to go back the next day and figure something else out. So that is why I will probably continue to put reports up even if it does bring a little more pressure in the long run.

You hit the nail right on the head, and I am that newcomer to crappie fishing, I have already had that experience where I just knew the fish were not biting on Barkley and then I see your post or other post from guys that are catching them so it encourages me to get out there and try something different something that I am not used to doing. I have learned so much in the short time that I have been on here, and most everyone seems to be good people, not your normal fisherman you see at the boat ramp that will tell you a straight up lie.
