KY lake advice
I have fished KY lake several times in the past. Had some good results but more often than not, it was tough for me, so I am asking for a little advice. We always seem to schedule our trips just before the spawn (like in early April). I have also generally fished near Bear Creek in 10 to 15 fow or Jonathan Creek in 5 to 10 fow. Since there is very little timber left in that lake, I have found it hard to locate fish. If my luck holds true to form and I am too early for the spawn, should I try spider rigging in the old creek channels rather than search for sunken brush or other structure? Any advice is welcome. BTW, the area, scenery and hospitality has always been great, I would just like to catch a few more fish.
Also, has anyone else noticed that the fishing was tougher when the lake level was dropping? Any suggestions for that?
