Green looked really good. The COE said thermocline was around 16'. Down imaging show a layer at around 22-23'. Caught several crappie. Kept five. I painted a red and pink crank with black checks and I believe you could clean that lake out of channel cats. Most of the crappie caught around 14-17' on the river edge of flats and points.

Out of curiosity, what crankbaits are working trolling for crappies at Green?

If you're referring to "brand" ... I believe most use Bandit cranks. But, if you're referring to color scheme ...
Seems like they have a different preference from one day to the next, as far as I know.

I used 200's on light braid 30-40 yards back. That puts them around 14-15' at around 1.8 mph. I repainted a lot of them. Other brands work as well. I buy some off brands also. I catch a lot on rat l traps behind planers or sinkers. Silver with a red back will work anywhere. Purple, orange and pink in any combo will work. I paint a lot for some guys in Tennessee just for fun and we are believing certain patterns like head/tail of one color and middle with a different color are producing more with spots, lines or checks in the middle are out producing other patterns. The speed at which fish are being caught with those compared to other patterns is noticeable. At least on their undisclosed lake. Certain colors that have caught mostly monster crappie but haven't been real productive anywhere else.
