Spent the morning poking around looking around for new stuff in a different area, alot more scanning than fishing. Found several nice spots and a few fish. Caught fish from 11-23fow. Nice to be able to atleast start the day off without sweating.

All I've found time to do fishing related is think about how nice it's going to be when it cools off and sink a few beds in spots that needed some more of my attention.

Lol, Buddy I really don't have a secret, just try to put jigs in and around quality spots. They really aren't as easy to pattern right now since the water cooled off a little and the current has picked up some. That little mess on Monday was just luck exploring a new area, could have just as easy been no fish.

Went back out a little while yesterday to another new area and marked some spots that looked good and will get fished again but only caught one keeper. It was hot by the time I finished checking that area and didn't bother fishing anything else. But who knows next time I am in fishing mode instead of scouting, one of those spots could turn out to be a gem. Stay after them my friend.
