If he told you that you couldn't put out PVC condos you should have gotten his name & badge # and then contacted the KDFW. As far as I know there is no restriction on putting out PVC in Kentucky or Barkley Lakes. I've been do'n it for years. :D

KDFW has PVC in the Blood river so guessing they can do it. But not others?

I hope that game warden doesn't stop me in the next few weeks. I have 53-5 gal buckets with wood stakes, 5-55 gal barrels cut in half with pvc standing up about 5 foot tall, and 20 pvc trees made up. If he doesn't like pvc then he might not be very happy with me.:D

After looking up the laws and reading the Outdoors section in Saturdays paper, I really think its just that game wardens personel preference that people don't use plastic. He made the comment that "he was glad to see us putting out something that rots". Also, he may have been new because none of us recognized him and we see the game wardens a lot on Jonothan. We just look around real good now before we put out buckets. Actually, we've just about quit putting out buckets because they seem to get knocked over by current or someones anchor line. We do have some on deeper flats that have lasted and still catch fish.
The only way to have a good fishing spot is to make it yourself!
