Keep your eyes on the "Newbies" forum. "G" gets all the incoming memberships and checks them out before signing them on.

I think you have to have at least one post before your "name" shows up in the Members List.

IF your buddy isn't able to sign in and post in the next day or two ... PM me, and I'll see what the problem is and try and get his membership expedited ASAP !!
