Brad and I had planned a night time crappie run on Barren and we'd gotten there early enough to pull crank baits for about an hour. You see I myself had several failed trips in the past attempting this, each trip for 3-4 hours. I'd read of it, seen pictures and was beaten soundly by Chaunc and Doug several years back in a tournament. I was beginning to think that catching crappie on crank baits was a myth like the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus. Folks I'm here to announce that there is a Santa Claus.
