Heading to KY lake this weekend

We are heading down for annual crappie trip saturday thru tuesday, usually fish Johnathan or blood, i was wondering how the bite was there or if we would better heading a little farther south(below Paris). I figure saturday will be a little slow, but should pick up in the following days. Any suggestions?

We are headed down Friday morning. We will be fishing all day Saturday and Sunday! Everyone must be catching cause they sure aren't talking!!!! On here anyways! I am curious too!!!!! We will be at Moore's fishing with wiskers!!!! OH YEA!!!!

Not sure about Kentucky, but Barkley, sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooow, at least for me, cold front on its way, with more crappy weather this weekend.

Yeah what wmac and buffalo said,,Barkley is slow!! Fished the last 2 days wirh only 5 keepers each day.

Very slow. Fished 8 hrs and had 14 small fish. That was 6 different bays from 30 to 6 fow. Some blacks are showing up but I suspect they will go back out after the weather freezes again. I am hearing some very weak guide trips from the local guides I have talked to on the lake. Doesn't look very promising for the next week. Just Sayin! Maybe Wiskers can find some fish?
