Got to spend Wednesday sharing the boat with MR DUX. We planned to longline the upper area above Jonathon creek. We didn't get to fish the area that produced on his previous trips because the wind was just to brutal there. We gave it a quick try anyway. Doug put his boards out and I longlined out the back. After an hour of fighting the waves, decided to pack it in and look for a more sheltered bay. We got 5 keepers but I was the gaspergoo king. I bet I caught half dozen of them buggers. Decided to give the bays south of Kenlake a look in the afternoon after stopping at Fas Eddie's for a cheeseburger. That was a good burger too. Got to the area we wanted to fish, got the boards and lines out and it was slow there too. Doug showed me one of his many redear holes and proved it would produce too. All in all it was great spending time with my buddy. Thanks Doug and also to Crappie.com for allowing me to meet these great friends I have from this area.
