That is a great idea since I usually end every trip with a floor full of baits I have changed out or taken off. It's not so bad with single hook jigheads but when your are trying to avoid carpet full of Bandits, it goes to a new level. I use a lot of pipe-wrap insulation with the holes already down the center and the sticky edges. I would think that would work great in that application.
Mrdux, i may get a chance tomorrow but i will post some pics of a couple things i did with pool noodles. I use them now also on my rod holders for holding jigs/crank baits. They work great. But i also use them for pre-rigging for cranks and for using jigs. The hooks go in and out of them easy but at the same time they hold in there good.
