At this rate with 6 boats 1/2 will get paid I think if we do that we just fish for fun. I like giving everyone a better chance of winning money. But if we are going to pay there should be some reward in it also. I think payout should never be below 4 boats which is 25% But I would prefer 5 boats 20% I mean you can buy a lottery ticket and get 1 in 4 odds. Just my thoughts.

(especially if the kill switch rule is removed) I don't know that we need a PFD rule for "whenever big motor is in use" ... as some may be using their big motor to troll with, or running at idle speed from one place to another, &/or navigating through a "no wake". But, if you're on plane, then a PFD should be worn by all members of the team. And children under 12 years of age must wear a PFD "at all times" when in the boat (per KY law).

I would prefer the weigh-in launch site to be the only launch site for all contestants, even if it means some that live close to the lake may have to travel a little more. It collects everyone into one central spot, making it easier to check boats, gather the entry fees, verify membership, etc.

If we only pay 2 places up to 14 boats, then 3 places at 15 boats .... that's basically less payouts than the 50/30/20 scheme. So, how about this :

Guaranteed 3 place payout % of (50/30/20) for 6-12 boats ... 4 places paid out for 13 or more boats @ a payout % of (40/30/20/10)
With 5 or less boats ... tournament becomes a Big Fish only, winner take all event.

And as for the "tie breaker" rule .... Big Fish tie = split pot ... Placing in a payout spot tie = coin toss winners takes upper spot, losers drop to next lower spot (even if they are no longer in a payout position).
