Spring Fling '13 ... Green River Lake

Considering that it looks like the 27th is in the lead & running away ... I will close the poll this coming weekend. That will give people that have not voted on a date, a chance to consider their choice. Hopefully, even those that did not choose the date that is the final choice, will still be able to change/make plans to attend.

We already have certain people that will contribute a large portion of the necessities for having the event. Should those people not be able to make it on the final choice date, it will be up to the "others" to volunteer the missing items.

Once the date is chosen & I close the poll ... I will post a thread for a head count of people attending & providing items/services needed. Any remaining items or services will need to be provided by the remaining attendees .. by their choice (volunteering), not by assignment. Any items/services that should happen to be needed, but not furnished by attending members ... I will take care of providing. But, it's a safe bet that we will likely have more than enough to make the event successful.

Don't hesitate to attend the spring fling, it's a wonderful time to fish, share stories and meet the great the people that post. Last years event was wonderful, had good times, good food and some great door prizes. Crappiepappy doesn't like taking credit for much but, it takes a lot of work to put this together, so a early thanks to him. Chucky can cook my fish anytime!! Yeah guys I will bring another wonderful engraved "jar" this year! Just need this years title. "Crappie.com Spring Fling 13" sound good?

Thanks, Charlie ... but, last years event was ALL Chucky's work. I just "helped". This year's event will be much the same.
And fear not ... Chucky WILL be the Chef Extraordinaire, once again

Crappie.com Spring Fling '13 sounds fine to me. Will the "jar" be awarded for the biggest Crappie brought in ??

I see no reason as to why the "jar" cannot be used for biggest Crappie caught. Couple more suggestions from others what should be title of this years event?, that will be etched onto the "jar". Lets go FISHING

Charlie ... I'm "reviving" the title, so there won't be a need for other suggestions. I helped run & fished the Spring Fling & Fall Brawl series of Crappie.com tourneys for 5yrs, down at Watts Bar Lake. They were "prizes only" tournaments. It's been over 5yrs since that series ended, so I'm reclaiming the name(s) for OUR state events.

That being said .... yes, I do hope to hold a Fall Brawl on Green !! But, let's not get ahead of ourselves, here.

As to "why" the "jar" is given away ... it's YOUR prize to give away, so you decide what determines its winner.

If it was not for Crappiepappy organizing the event, we may not even have one. Thanks buddy,

. I will cook again but, i will take the back seat on the rest. I want to get alot more pictures of this years event. I may not even fish that much on the day of the event so that i can make sure everything is ready when everybody comes back in.
