All,
New to the forum and crappie fishing. I'm ready to get started. I'm basically brand new to crappie fishing other than a couple times I have gone with friends in the past few years. Looking for any advice anyone is willing to share......what to spend my money on (specific lures etc...), typical crappie patterns in the coming weeks etc... and how to fish. I don't want to buy a bunch of the wrong stuff I won't use or need. I'll probably be fishing Green and Nolin more than other lakes. Thanks for any and all comments.

Go to the bait shop that you plan on using, look for the olddest geezer in the place and buy him breakfast! Spending a few days on the lake with someone who knows when to shut up and it will open your eyes to alot of possibilities. Lastly, go early and stay late.
Everything is possible. The impossible just takes longer!
Here is info on general crappie movements as dictated by water temp....

Hey Quest! Welcome to the forum! I haven't been here long either, but have enjoyed soaking in all the knowledge. Read what these guys have to say, follow the advice, and you'll be catching limits before you know it.
Good Luck!
