You will get much more info if you ask a question then ask for the replies to be on PM and not discussed publicly. There are lots of "internet scouts" who are just dying to fish every one of your honey holes that you are more than willing to disclose on public forums. Duck hunters are by far the worst. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but that seems to be the way it works on the net. Believe me, I learned the hard way.

As much as I hate to admit it, I have to 100% agree with this post. I was burned bad on this very board two years ago when I was trying to help a fellow angler in the area out on my home lake (Green) and then found the hard way what kind of people are really out there, even on our friendly community site. I spend over 100 days a year on Green River Lake alone so I out in a lot of time and considerable money locating and patterning fish so when someone acts a fool or is rude after helping them out I'm done. If you want specific please PM one of us who fish the lake on a regular basis and we will be more willing to give out more information that just a generalized report. Everyone has to start somewhere and this website is the single best resource for crappie fishing on the planet, hands down! You can learn everything you ever wanted to know by browsing through old posts in the general and state specific forums. I love the comraderie that we have on this board but as the old adage goes, "one bad apple can spoil the bunch."

We fished today but slow, we found fish down to 30' and in as little as 10'. The bigger fish where in the deep water. Water temp was 36 to 41.
