Shindig "Need" List

List of needs for the Shindig.

1. Canola oil. I have peanut oil but when I’m cook’n for a large crowd of folks that I don’t know well, I don’t use it for fear that someone may have a peanut allergy. With the 2 big cookers we’re probably gonna need about 10 gal.
2. Paper plates
3. Paper towels
4. Large trash bags 30 gal or bigger
5. Plastic eating utensils.
6. Paper bowls
7. Ketchup (small bottles)
8. Small disposable salt & pepper shakers
9. If someone wants to bring some Cole Slaw, that would be good.
10. Small bottles of your favorite hot sauce.
11. Lawn chairs
12. Name tags
13. Deserts
14. Probably 15# of French Fries
15. Large Aluminum Pans
16. Tin Foil
17. I’m gonna make a BIG pot of white beans but if someone wants to bring some baked beans that would be good.
18. Drinks (Sodas, Un-sweet Tea, Sweet Tea, Lemonade, Bottled water, etc…)
19. Large Plastic or Styrofoam drinking cups
20. Big plastic serving spoons
21. Tartar Sauce

If yall think of anything else please post it. I probably left a lot of stuff out.

When I get home I’ll check my freezer for fish. Can’t tell ya what I got. I have a BIG family fish fry the weekend before the shindig and that’ll put a little dent in it. I'll have a few days to fish (weather permitting) & can put some back. We may also have some from the tourney. If ya have a spare bag of fish, just give us a shout. We may not need any but you never know. Last year we had a little more than we needed.

200 paper plates
12 rolls of paper towels

I will check the list closer to the slabfest and help out with anything else you need.

I got the garbage bags,crappie chowder(for Friday Potluck?),plastic cups ,jalapeno hush puppie mix and some Rooster Sauce(sriracha sauce).
I will bring 2 quart bags of fish I have frozen and what I catch between now and the shindig.Problem is Wiskers is off the boat and catching will suck BAD!

I'll have a big pot of Deer Chili for Friday night.

I caught a bunch of Fiddler Blue Cats while I was in last time. Think anyone would want catfish too? I had some while I was home & man they was GOOD!

Good deal. I think with the paper towels that Chuck is bring'n we won't need napkins.

Will bring the drinks. We'll ice up a big cooler and put a mixture of drinks and water in it. Maybe bring some ketchup too and some extra ice.
