Even though it's been 100+ degrees, until just recently, some members have been catching Crappie ... fishing at night, under lights, with minnows (Green River Lake). Another member has been catching a mixed bag of Crappie, & White Bass, fishing under the lights of docks at night with minnows or jigs (Herrington). So .... I see no reason why you couldn't put the wife & kids on some Bluegill (crickets, waxworms, piece of nightcrawler) under slipfloats --- or possibly troll some jigs for White Bass, Crappie, or whatever ... on KY Lake.

Solunar tables indicate the best hours are during the 6-8AM period (over the next few days) ... if you're into that stuff.
