When are you going back to the Kentucky River? Where about was you and did you have a boat? I been trying to learn more and been trying the creek by Halls on the river and at the beach at Boonsboro state park (the dam) and not a bite. Maybe we could go and do lunch. Please email me if you can [email protected]
    thak you,

Hey Fred I do fish the river some. It can be very tough at times. The crappie will move up in the creeks the first of April. Lower Howard's creek at halls will have fish in it around April. If you are going to fish off the bank I would go to the mouth of Tate's creek at Valley view. It has a bridge over it with easy access to the water.

Thank you for your help. Now where is Tate's creek at Valley view? Can I get to it from Halls?

Valley view ferry crosses the river out of Madison co. Tate's creek runs into the river just above the ferry. Look on google maps.

Is that water temp right? 68 seems pretty high.
