plans for next year

need some fortune tellers.....im planning a trip for about this time of year for next year....hope to finally meat some of you....are we still early for the "good" bite or was that a couple weeks ago?? or is it yet to come?? i know every year is different but for those of you that have fished for many years what is the best fall window to come down and give it a try??? thanks and everyone be safe!
