    Fred they should be moving into the creeks now. If you could get a Jon boat with a small motor you could put yourself in some really good spots up the creeks on the river.

    Yes I'm surfeit would, I been thinking about getting one. Have you ever caught them over by halls

    I'm going over to the creek next to halls this weekend cause we are in the upper 70s maybe 80. May even try to ease down to the mouth of it. We not had any rain here for awhile so I hope water is calm.

    haven't heard anything about the river, Fred ... but, the Crappie are spawning at Cedar Creek Lake. And from the results of the Slabfeast on Green River Lake, I'd say they're trying to spawn there again, too.

    Hey I caught an 11inch crappie out of the creek of ky river today, skinny fish and no sign of eggs ect. Was under a brush pile, maybe they are moving in??????

    Good sign IF it was a Male White Crappie that had darker than normal black markings !! That would mean that it was looking for a nesting site. If it wasn't a male, it surely must have been a spawned out female ... just looking for a meal.
