    Default Green or Barren?

Going to Green or Barren the last of the week. Does anybody have any suggestions on which would be better or any reports on what's going on.
    Thanks!

Crappie are biting on Barren fairly decent. I have been there 3 times in a little over a week and am averaging about 16 a trip in about 5-6 hours a trip. Crappie seem to be in a little deeper water, but that's understandable with water temps in the low 50's and the lake is falling too. Catching my fish on minnow's in 12-16ft. of water over brush.

went to Green Sat. and only had 12 keepers casting jigs. But the wind was so bad couldn't fish were I wanted.
They were suspended around 12 feet along breaks.
I believe you could have a good catch if the wind lies down. They are holding the level stable to -0.1 per day.

Thanks guys. I still hadn't made up my mind yet, guess I'll wait and see what the weather does and what the lakes look like towards the end of the week.

Winds are blowing 25-30mph in Campbellsville today, looks like it is supposed to stay like this for a couple of days.

Well, still really hadn't made up my mind on where to go tomorrow. Does anybody have any reports or advice that may sway me one way or the other? I'm just trying to catch some for the kids.

I know the Crappie tournament is at Barren this weekend. How crowded and how many are expected?

Thanks again, I'll post some of my results tomorrow night.

Went to Green today, 4/8. Caught a lot of small fish, only brought home 10 keepers. The ones we found were in 16-20 of water. We caught mainly on minnows.

Ya'll keep them GRL reports coming in !! Good stuff, and will help us have a better chance at a successful "Slabfest" on Apr 16th. And while I'm on that subject, I'd like to invite all you anglers to come fish/fry/eat/socialize with those of us that will be attending the Slabfest. See the sign-up thread for updates. It's not a tourney, so there's no competition pressure ... it's just a chance to meet/fish/eat/socialize with your fellow C.c members.
