Green River Lake Slabfest 2011 date ....

I'm going to call it ... and make the 16th our Slabfest date Thumbs Up as I don't see much chance of any of the other dates getting enough votes to pass it.
I'm also thinking we need to start getting our "list of necessities" together, and find out who's going to bring what

I'll bring some bowls (for the filets), & a couple of bags of hushpups. I also have a 10qt Masterbuilt fryer that we can use, if we don't have enough volunteers to bring theirs. It's never been used, and I don't have a gas tank for it, yet, so I'd have to get one & test out the connections before I commit to bringing it.

We need someone to check with Holmes Bend, and see if we can get the picnic shelter for the 16th. If we can't, we will need suggestions on where to hold the fish fry (and maybe even another place to launch ?? ).

SO ... who's in, and whatcha gonna bring to the party ?? :D

Picnic shelter is reserved for the 16th and they said the restrooms will be open also.

I'll be there for sure with a fishing buddy, Im excited I actually get to come and don't have to work this year on the day selected. Crappiepappy I'm open to bring whatever is needed, I have about everything but the kitchen sink, so just let me know what we need and it's done.

Hey cp, I've already talked to you about this so you just tell me what to bring. I've got a 20 lb tank of propane, if that is what you're talking about. You are free to use it if you want.Thumbs Up You can pm me with anything else we might need.

CP, I'm still uncertain about making it on the 16th. I've taken Harrison turkey hunting opening day every year since he's been able to go, and he's already eager to go after them again. He is driving now, and could actually embark on his own for the day. I'll see how he feels about it and will let you know something very soon. Sure would like to make it, had a great time last year.

Wish I could be there,but I've got a few vacation days around Easter the next week and can't get off 2 weekends in a row.
